DENEAL BANKS

Deneal Banks serves as the Executive Pastor at Freedom Church in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, where her leadership and unwavering commitment to her faith inspire others to serve God and their community. Licensed as a minister in July 2013, Deneal has faithfully advanced her calling over the years, becoming an ordained Elder in 2021.

In addition to her pastoral role, Deneal is the founder of Deneal Banks Ministries and The Bible and Brunch, which are dedicated to empowering individuals through prayer, fellowship, and the Word of God. As a devoted leader, she spearheads various community service initiatives, demonstrating her heart for service and her desire to make a lasting impact.

A proud graduate of Elizabeth City State University, Deneal earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2016. In 2021, she furthered her education by obtaining a Master of Science in Marketing. She is also a distinguished member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Deneal is the eldest daughter of Bishop Darryl Banks and Overseer Dena’ Banks, and she shares a close bond with her younger sister, Destiny Banks. Her family’s legacy of faith and ministry has profoundly influenced her journey, shaping her into a servant leader who passionately follows God’s calling.

Her favorite scripture, Philippians 4:13, declares, “I can do ALL THINGS through Christ which strengtheneth me.” This verse encapsulates her life’s mission and the strength she draws from her faith. Deneal’s foremost aspiration is to honor God in all areas of her life and continue her journey to becoming the woman of God she is ordained to be.
